Vitendo started the new year off with a bang by announcing its vFone 4.0, the industry’s first UMA-based softphone for PC applications. vFone 4.0 offers the look and features of a cellphone, allowing end users to make and receive calls and SMS from their laptops/desktops, while maintaining a unique identity on the network.

vFone 4.0 is available on Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista.
